BIOGRAPHY
Robert Welsh enlisted in the US Army Security Agency as an Electronic Warfare Equipment technician while employed at RCA Camden NJ. I heard from a recruiter during one of my classes while studying radio engineering.
Active Duty:
Basic training: Fort Dix NJ.
Schooling: Fort Monmouth NJ; radar repair school then electronic warfare equipment school.
Duty stations: TUSLOG Det 4 Sinop Turkey; 2nd USASA Field Station, Two Rock CA as electronic warfare technician. All my duty stations were under the National Security Agency as electronic intercept sites.
Reserve Duty:
Enlisted in the 157th Infantry Brigade, Willow Grove PA following my active duty time. Served as Aviation Electronics technician in the Aviation Company of the Brigage.
Retired as Assistant Professor, Physics & Astronomy, Bucks County Community College, Newtown PA
